A scene may also represent a particular interest or erotic episode eg. His scene is body piercing or eg. They participated in a scene yesterday night

Lifestyle In a D/s Contact this refers to people who view D&S as central to their erotic lives

Dom Male Dominant

Domme Female Dominant

Sub/Subbie Submissive

Switch Someone who 'switches' between the roles of Dom/Domme and Submissive

Vanilla Normal relationship/encounter (whatever that is!)

Newbie Someone who is new to BDSM
